52-Day Foresters Canoe Guides-in-training
Participants receive advanced training that combines leadership development, outdoor skills and preparation for the role of a canoe trip guide.
Hands-on workshops and a canoe expedition consisting of 28 days of whitewater travel and four days of flatwater travel help them develop their technical skills, teamwork and confidence in a wilderness adventure setting.
Throughout the program, participants put what they learn into practice alongside the Kanawana team and gain hands-on experience in leading and preparing canoe trips.
2027 Dates and Pricing
Please note that the camp does not offer supervision during the weekends between sessions. As part of the Foresters program, your child will be on expedition during the weekends between Sessions 1 and 2, as well as between Sessions 2 and 3.
Between Sessions 3 and 4, however, your child will need to return home. You will need to pick them up at camp on July 30 and bring them back on August 2 to continue the program.
Some fees may be eligible for childcare tax credits.
How to register
Available only during the registration period.
Registration for our summer camp programs must be completed online through the secure Amilia platform.
1. Enable or create your Amilia account
Use the same email address as your old Active account, if you had one.
2. Complete your family profile
Add your camper(s) to your account, verify their information and add a payment method.
3. Choose the program and session
Select the appropriate program and session and complete the online registration process.
