Social Reintegration Program

The Espadrille Social Reintegration Program: Re-Entering the Community After Prison

This program helps adult offenders serving a sentence in a provincial detention centre or serving a sentence in the community re-enter society successfully.

The program helps participants to:

  • Acquire psychosocial skills through problem solving, self-control, self-awareness, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize needs.
  • Become independent through awareness and accountability, knowledge of local community resources, social and community integration, compliance with social norms, etc.
  • Gain stability in their personal life through emotions, family, self-esteem, relationships, training, socialization, employment, and professional resources.
