12-Day Pathfinders

Campers aged 13 to 16 enjoy the full Camp YMCA Kanawana experience through outdoor activities, challenges, discoveries and shared experiences with their group.

During their stay, they build independence, form new connections and enjoy everything camp life has to offer.

A one-night camping excursion on the shores of one of the camp’s three lakes rounds out the adventure and gives them an even more immersive experience in the great outdoors.

Priority Registration – September 29 at 9 a.m.

Exclusively for campers who attended in 2026.

General Registration – October 13 at 9 a.m.

Registration open to everyone.

During their stay, campers enjoy a varied program that combines outdoor activities, water sports, arts, nature exploration, and group activities. Each day gives them opportunities to try new things, develop their independence, and build connections in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Please note that the camp does not offer supervision services during the weekends between sessions. If your child is registered for multiple consecutive sessions, you will need to pick them up at the end of each session and bring them back at the beginning of the next one.

Some fees may be eligible for childcare tax credits.

How to register

Available only during the registration period.

Registration for our summer camp programs must be completed online through the secure Amilia platform.

1. Enable or create your Amilia account

Use the same email address as your old Active account, if you had one.

2. Complete your family profile

Add your camper(s) to your account, verify their information and add a payment method.

3. Choose the program and session

Select the appropriate program and session and complete the online registration process.

6:45 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.: Down time, no programming
7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: Cabin/tent program #3
8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.: Cabin/tent program #4 (junior campers prepare for bed)
9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.: Campfire (senior campers prepare for bed)
10:00 p.m.: Lights out

* Open program areas vary depending on weather and availability of staff, but typically will change from morning to afternoon.

Please note: Some days include all-section or all-camp activities instead of interest group blocks or cabin/tent group programming.
Lights out time also varies depending on the daily activities and the age of the campers.
