As a charitable organization, the YMCAs of Québec strives for excellence when it comes to ethics, transparency, accountability, and efficiency. In fact, we follow Imagine Canada’s standards for this purpose.

In this spirit, it is important to note that the YMCA can, as part of its operations, acquire products and services from parties in which a board member may have an interest. In such a case, the board member will declare a conflict of interest and abstain from voting on any commitment associated with the concerned party or participating in any discussion or decision on the subject in order to avoid a conflict of interest.
