The Foundation of the YMCAs of Québec is managed by an Executive Committee composed of members elected during the General Assembly of the Foundation. The term of each Director is of two (2) years from the date of election, with no limitation on the number of terms.

Board Committees of the Foundation
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee operates under the authority of the Board of Directors and exercises all of its powers to manage the Foundation's day-to-day operations, except those powers solely reserved by law to the Board of Directors, as well as those that the Board of Directors can specifically reserve for themselves.
Audit, Investment and Endowment Committee
The Audit, Investment and Endowment Committee monitors the effectiveness of the external audit of the Foundation, validates the budget and recommends its approval to the Board of Directors, and ensures that the Endowment Fund is responsibly managed and investment revenues are distributed to support the YMCA’s mission.
Governance and Nominating Committee
The Governance and Nominating Committee enforces the governing bylaws of the Foundation, recommends work methods, proposes ways to evaluate the Board's effectiveness and nominates suitable candidates for election to the Board of Directors or other Board Committees.
Endowment and Investment Committee
The Endowment and Investment Committee ensures the responsible management and growth of the Foundation’s Endowment Fund. Each year, the Committee receives and evaluates various requests for the funding of YMCA projects, decides which of these to fund and recommends how to allocate revenues from the Endowment Fund.
Peace Medal Award Ceremony Committee
The Peace Medal Award Ceremony Committee organizes the Peace Medal Award Ceremony, a benefit event for YMCA youth programs. The Committee’s responsibilities include the sale of sponsorships, corporate tables and tickets for the event.
YMCA Challenge Committee
The YMCA Challenge Committee organizes the YMCA Challenge, a benefit event for YMCA youth programs. The Committee’s responsibilities include the sale of sponsorships and tickets for the event.
