12-Day Explorers Woodsies
During a 12-day stay, campers aged 11 to 12 enjoy an experience that combines life at Camp YMCA Kanawana with a multiday wilderness adventure.
Alongside camp activities, Explorers prepare for a four-day camping trip in the Papineau-Labelle Wildlife Reserve combining canoeing and hiking.
This is an opportunity to build independence and develop their team spirit and outdoor skills while taking on new challenges.

Our Explorers Woodsies program in the heart of nature
Guided by an experienced team, campers set off on a canoe-camping adventure and experience life in the great outdoors. Paddling, setting up camp, cooking together, and sharing stories around the campfire are all part of the journey. It’s an immersive experience that lets them discover remarkable landscapes while building independence, teamwork, and self-confidence.
2027 Dates and Pricing
Please note that the camp does not offer supervision services during the weekends between sessions. If your child is registered for multiple consecutive sessions, you will need to pick them up at the end of each session and bring them back at the beginning of the next one.
Some fees may be eligible for childcare tax credits.
How to register
Available only during the registration period.
Registration for our summer camp programs must be completed online through the secure Amilia platform.
1. Enable or create your Amilia account
Use the same email address as your old Active account, if you had one.
2. Complete your family profile
Add your camper(s) to your account, verify their information and add a payment method.
3. Choose the program and session
Select the appropriate program and session and complete the online registration process.
