Au coeur du quartier: An Evening of Hope in Support of the Saint-Roch YMCA
Last March 12, the Saint-Roch YMCA Benefit Cocktail brought together members of the business community and local partners for an evening filled with generosity, meaningful connections and emotion.
Under the theme “Au coeur du quartier”, the event filled the Saint-Roch YMCA with a truly special energy. Through conversations, shared moments and everyone’s commitment, the evening highlighted the strength of a community that chooses to come together to support the youth and families in its neighbourhood.
A Deeply Human Story
One of the evening’s most memorable moments was the testimony shared by Tommy, a young beneficiary of the Saint-Roch YMCA.
With great sincerity, he spoke je voudraabout what the YMCA has meant in his journey: a place where he found belonging, built confidence and learned to believe in himself. A welcoming and safe environment where, the moment he walks through the doors, he feels like he has found a second family.
His story deeply moved everyone in attendance and served as a powerful reminder of why these moments of mobilization matter so much.
A Concrete Impact for Youth in the Community
Thanks to the presence and generosity of participants, partners and donors, the funds raised will support the Saint-Roch YMCA Youth Zone, an essential anchor point for youth in the neighbourhood.
This space provides guidance, opportunities to grow and a caring, safe environment where young people can thrive, develop and find their place.
By supporting the Youth Zone, this evening is making a tangible contribution to strengthening the social fabric of the Saint-Roch neighbourhood and providing youth with an environment where they can move forward with confidence, surrounded and supported during key moments in their lives.
