Environment Exploration (Ages 5–12)

Is your child interested in discovering nature in all its forms? With this new program, campers will dive into the world of the natural sciences.

Milli-Volt - Green Tech: In collaboration with Concordia University's Volt-Age research program, your child will explore exciting topics like heat islands, solar energy, and plastics while taking action! They’ll experiment with a lemon battery, create color-changing reactions with electrochromism, and watch a science-lab demo on how lithium batteries work. Older campers will dive into hands-on activities like simulating battery slurry and building a Daniell Cell to understand how energy storage works. A fun and engaging way to learn about climate action!

Mission: Fauna and Flora: Give your child the opportunity to immerse themselves into the world of animals, plants, and even microorganisms! Captivating activities await including the growing of 3D cells, DNA extraction, insect observation, and the creation of a nature volume to further their understanding of fauna and flora.

This summer, nature and technology collide for unforgettable adventures!
