Closing of the YMCA International Language School

After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close the YMCA International Language School as of December 19, 2025.

Despite the undeniable importance of this institution, the financial difficulties it has faced for several years were too great for it to pursue its activities while ensuring the organization’s sustainability.

For 60 years now, the YMCA International Language School has enabled thousands of people to learn a language, but above all it has enabled students to forge lasting bonds with one another. Thanks to our students and their journeys, their dreams, and their curiosity, the school has become so much more than a place of learning: it has become a community of openness, respect, and mutual enrichment.

We would also like to highlight the exceptional role played by our teachers, employees, volunteers, partners, donors, and all the people who have supported the school over the last 60 years. Their passion, commitment, and dedication were the beating heart of this adventure. Without them, the school would not have become what it is today.
