Beyond Influence: The Toxico program has a new name!
A new identity.
A renewed vision. The same commitment to youth.
This change is about much more than a new name. It reflects the YMCAs of Québec's belief that every youth has strengths, potential, and the ability to make informed choices. Our approach focuses on prevention, well-being, and building protective factors, such as making it easier to seek help, providing accurate information to help youth develop critical thinking skills, encouraging open dialogue, and many others.
The new name better reflects the reality of our work in the community while also eliminating the potentially stigmatizing nature of the program's former name.

An approach rooted in prevention, early intervention, and the promotion of well-being.
Because youth voices matter, 256 teenagers took part in selecting the program's new name, helping create an identity that truly resonates with them.
We are proud to continue this journey as Beyond Influence, supporting youth as they grow, make informed choices, and reach their full potential.
