Our Team

Our diverse and caring team is our true pride and joy! Our team members are one of the main reasons why we are a big part of the summer plans for hundreds of families each year!

Our team members are:

  • Selected after an intensive interview process. Our goal is to invite qualified members to the camp team. We are confident that everyone will contribute to the positive camp experience we offer to our campers!
  • Well trained with 50 hours of training supervised by the ACQ, including workshops on child development and psychology, positive interventions, introduction to facilitating group activities, themed group ice-breaker games, emergency protocols and more!
  • Age of majority. Our counsellors are all at least 18-years-old. Some are accompanied by our junior counsellors (17-years-old or older, holding a DAFA or CIT certification).
  • Certified in first aid.
  • Selected upon completion of a criminal record background check and reference validation.
  • Trained to the high standards of child protection used in the YMCAs of Québec.
  • Committed to our vision of the camp's importance to the overall development of young people.
  • Dedicated to their role with campers. Many of our team members come back year after year.
  • Excited to be working with your child this summer!
