Changeover weekends are offered as an option for campers that wish to spend the weekend at camp instead of going back home between two 12-day sessions. This option is offered for campers aged 7 to 16 and offers an array of activities that are supervised by at least two staff members and a member of our camp summer management team.
On top of enjoying quieter camp time, campers will have the opportunity (weather dependent) to partake in a day of activities at Sommet Saint-Sauveur, a well-known water park located 10 minutes away from camp, or to go bowling if the weather turns bad. On top of providing meals, snacks and supervision, our changeover campers will also benefit from a laundry service to wash their belongings between sessions. Campers that stay changeover at Camp YMCA Kanawana will also have the opportunity to call home during the weekend.
