Welcome and housing services
Created in 1931, the YMCA Residences promote social cohesion and the inclusion of some of the most vulnerable members of our society by providing short-term housing for refugees and asylum seekers.
The Residences provide a multitude of services and activities to welcome and support its clients, with the collaboration of PRAIDA, a regional program for the accommodation and integration of asylum seekers managed by the Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux (CIUSSS) of West-Central Montreal, and in collaboration with the MIFI (Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration).
The accommodation is not open to the public and is accessible only by referral from the above-mentioned institutions.
