Welcome to Camp YMCA Kanawana!

Located just 15 minutes from Saint-Sauveur on a 550-acre site with 3 lakes, Camp YMCA Kanawana has been offering a unique setting to enjoy nature and have fun in the great outdoors since 1894. It is the ideal spot to disconnect from the everyday, build new skills, meet new friends, and make unforgettable memories in a caring and safe environment.

Our Kanawana Adventure Day Camp program is back for its second year in a row! It campers aged 5 to 12 the opportunity to take part in a ton of outdoor activities at our enchanting site in Saint-Sauveur, while returning to the comfort of their home in the evening.
On the agenda for the week? Archery, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, nature interpretation, arts and crafts, introduction to wilderness survival... All skillfully combined with the unifying approach typical of the Y day camps.

8:00 a.m. Gradual arrival of kids at the meeting spot in the Provigo parking lot (50 Avenue Saint-Denis, Saint-Sauveur)

8:30 a.m. Bus ride from meeting spot to our destination: Camp YMCA Kanawana

9:00 a.m. Start of camp and morning assembly

9:20 a.m. Activity 1: Archery*

10:25 a.m. Activity 2: Paddle board*

11:30 a.m. Swimming or free play

12:00 p.m. - Lunch

12:30 p.m. - Club time

1:15 p.m. Activity 4: Nature walk

2:30 p.m. Interest Group 1: Rock climbing

3:30 p.m. Transition activity to end the day

4:00 p.m. Camp circle

4:30 p.m. Departure by bus from Camp YMCA Kanawana – destination: meeting point in the Provigo parking lot (50 Saint-Denis Avenue, Saint-Sauveur)

5:00 p.m. Pick-up by parents

*Other options: arts and crafts, canoeing, kayaking, mainsheet, long canoeing, swimming, water activities, rock climbing, axe throwing, rope course, Katimavik, Beat Lodge (board games and music), ball field.
