Health and Fitness FAQ

We are all experiencing an exceptional situation and we are doing our best to support collective efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19. For the Y, this means closing all our centres and programs and asking our employees to telecommute whenever possible so we can follow social distancing guidelines. We’ve made the decision to suspend the collection of fitness membership payments.

Membership payments have been automatically suspended since Monday, March 23 and will be reactivated when we can reopen our centres.

In order to address your concerns as best we can, we have prepared answers to some questions that you may have: 

How long will the YMCAs of Québec be closed? Are you still collecting payments? Will there be a swimming session this spring? Can I get my personal belongings at the centre? Do you offer virtual workouts and activities?
