Trainings for organizations

Whether your organization is small or large, our DAFA trainings will equip your team with the tools they need to ensure both quality and safety for your youth program participants!

• Training programs in French and English
• Customized or ready-to-go offerings according to the needs of your organization
• Choose between on-site trainings at your business or welcoming your staff as part of our organized classes at the Y
• Theory course options: 100 % virtual or hybrid model
• 35 hours of practical training

At the end of this course, your trainees will be equipped to:

• Effectively manage groups of up to 20 youth
• Encourage participation from everyone
• Speak confidently with parents
• Create an inclusive environment for your program
• Improve their creativity and planning skills
• Implement the concepts of physical literacy
• Animate groups while practicing physical distancing
• Work as a team, and much more!

The content of this training is certified by the Conseil québécois du loisir and is recognized as an employment standard for camps that are members of the Association des camps du Québec.
