First Aid and CPR Courses

Respond effectively to emergencies

Would you like to be able to respond effectively in an emergency and help someone in danger before first responders arrive? Our first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) courses will teach you how to prevent and recognize signs of a heart attack and stroke as well as intervention techniques for airway obstruction (choking) and cardiac arrest.

By following our training programs, you will learn how to respond appropriately to these situations, perform CPR and use the AED (automatic external defillibrator) as you wait for emergency medical services.

Once you have successfully completed this training, you will receive a certificate from the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Québec. We recommend that you renew your training regularly (every year or every two years).

These courses are for anyone interested in learning the skills and techniques needed in an emergency. Moreover, participants in our Fitness Instructor Training (FIT) program must obtain Heartsaver® CPR AED with Child Module certification.
