Victoria Tennis Club

Founded in 1922, the Victoria Tennis Club is one Québec City’s oldest. Back then, it only had two clay courts. Today, it’s one of the most beautiful outdoor tennis complexes in the province, with nine synthetic turf courts with windscreens and several amenities, including fully equipped changing rooms, a lounge and a bar.

The Saint-Roch YMCA is very pleased to partner with the City of Québec to ensure that tennis continues to be played at Victoria Park!

In collaboration with the YMCA team and its volunteers, Frédéric Lepage and his customer service team will coordinate club activities.

This season will be different than usual because we are dealing with several COVID-19-related situations.

It is important for us to help with public efforts to slow the spread of the pandemic. Please know that our top priority is the health and safety of our members and teams.

Following the announcement on May 13 that outdoor activities will resume, the Victoria Tennis Club can reopen with several restrictions in place.

Here are the new restrictions:

  • Players MUST play singles games
  • A 2-metre distance from other people must be maintained all times
  • No equipment rental
  • Bathrooms and chalet are indefinitely closed
  • Online memberships and reservations only
  • Training sessions and lessons are not available or permitted
