My interest in health, fitness and helping others has made me a passionate trainer. I offer personalized services that are adapted to individual needs, and share my knowledge so you can make progress in whatever you wish to undertake. From improving general fitness, to losing weight, to strength building and increasing muscle mass, I am committed to working with you, no matter what your goals may be. I would like you to leave each training session with a sense of accomplishment and the desire to surpass yourself again and again.

As a former competitive gymnast, I understand those who want to achieve performance goals. I especially love interval training, running and strength training. My own injuries have taught me how important it is to master proper techniques in order to use your muscles correctly.

Fitness training is a true joy for me and I want to share it with others. I look forward to working with you!

Matthew Bourgoin-Horne

Having played a variety of sports from a young age, including varsity football with the Concordia Stingers, I understand what it is like to suffer from injuries that prevent you from performing the activities you love. As both a physiotherapist and personal trainer, I have an extremely strong understanding of the human body and human movement. With the knowledge I have gained through my studies and years of experience, I can help you to both recover from injuries as well as prevent them from occurring in the future by providing individually-tailored rehabilitation and strength and conditioning programs.

I am a kinesiologist with a solid background in physical activity. My path within this field began when I enthusiastically took up basketball when I was 8 years-old. I pursued my passion and reached the national level as a professional basketball player in my country. Wanting to add more value to my professional career, I studied sports science and received a master's degree in kinesiology. I continued my development by receiving personal training and corrective conditioning certifications in Canada. My in-depth experience in fitness and corrective conditioning, good communication skills, as well as my friendly personality, assist me in guiding my clients as they reach their goals with both motivation and safety.

I am specialized in developing strength and flexibility, increasing muscle mass, weight loss, toning abdominal and gluteal muscles, posture correction and yoga. My approach is clear, simple, effective, and accessible to all.

Tom Karabatsos

Tirelessly committed to health and fitness, my passion for training continues to grow and drives me to inspire and help others achieve their goals. Coming from an overweight background, I know what it’s like to start from scratch and not be sure where to begin when entering a gym. Having a highly specialized training program is the key to progress and persevere. My goal is to guide you in developing a program that will teach you techniques on how to execute different exercises and movements and to assess how and when to progress on a weekly basis.

I offer challenging but safe sessions. Productivity and progress are my main goals in tapping into your weaknesses and imbalances and turning them into positives and strengths. My end goal is to guide you in acquiring the knowledge to build your own personalized training plan so you can achieve your objectives. Wilson Xavier De Melo

As a personal trainer, my passion for physical fitness and martial arts inspires my clients to reach their maximum potential through simple and effective training programs. I use several approaches in my training sessions, including functional training (without machines), boxing and capoeira, to improve motor skills (coordination, strength, endurance, speed, flexibility and range) and cardiopulmonary capacity.

I am a qualified trainer who is certified in physical conditioning with several years of experience in martial arts, including boxing, jiu-jitsu and, mostly, capoeira (a Brazilian martial art). With these tools, I can evaluate your fitness level and help you establish appropriate goals.
