Du Parc YMCA

Culturally YMCA winter edition

- February 04 2020

Once again this year, Culturally YMCA welcomed many fine people to its winter edition, which filled the Du Parc YMCA’s hall with music. Around forty guests attended the event on the invitation of artists and hosts Théodora and Alex.

The evening began with Feda and Estelle, two young artists from the Oxy-Jeunes organization. The duo gently rocked the audience with their dulcet renditions of pop songs.

Then, Janet Falkner presented her work, followed by Café Rendez-Vous Y participants, Margot, Lucile and Mariette.

After, 4LIAS, a young rapper from the TeenZone, very enthusiatically shared his world with us. On a completely different note, young singer Mary Jeans roused the audience with her dance moves and poignant songs. With lots of energy and spirit, Tommy K, an anglophone rapper, came up on stage to perform his upbeat compositions. To close the event, singer-songwriter Matthieu Léveillé moved us with his sensitive and passionate lyrics.

A heartfelt thanks to the evening’s hosts, artists and audience for this amazing show! We’ll see you again on Friday, April 24, 2020. This time, we’ll be recruiting artists aged 12 to 17 from Mile End, Outremont or Town of Mont-Royal for a very special project!
