Important notice - COVID19

Measures to accommodate campers

The provincial government has authorized day camps to open under very strict conditions. Public health authorities have given us clear directives on how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 at camp, and these directives are grouped into four main principles:

  1. Keep a distance of 2 metres from others at all times and take sanitary precautions when this is not possible.
  2. Strictly operate outdoors, except in the event of rain or a heat wave; if we go inside, each small group must have their own designated room.
  3. Limit contact between participants, avoid sharing materials, and reduce group sizes
  4. Carry out strict hygiene and screening measures several times a day.

Our team has worked very hard over the last few weeks to find ways of providing your children with stimulating and rewarding programming while following public health guidelines. We are happy to announce that we will be able to offer a day camp at the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce YMCA. However, camp will obviously be different from what you and your children are used to.

We are also working on finding ways of bringing a little camp magic to your life, even if you can’t be there physically. Please take a moment to complete this survey, which will help steer us in the right direction.
