6-Day Pioneers (Ages 7-12)

Girls and non-binary campers aged 7 to 12 stay in cabins with other campers of the same age and gender identity.* Counsellors sleep in a separate room in the cabin. We assign counsellors based on where we think they will best work with our campers. The programs for campers are creative, active, explorative and, above all, fun!

*If your child is gender nonconforming or transgender, please let us know so that we can ensure that they are comfortable with their cabin arrangement.

2025 REGISTRATION:

Good news! First thing, registration will be moved up this year. 
Here are the key takeaways for summer 2025:

• Starting at 9:00 a.m. on September 24 – Priority registration for campers who participated in the camp during summer 2024.
• Starting at 9:00 a.m. on October 8 – Public registration (open to all).
• Process – Email sent with a link to the online priority or public registration page. 

If your children have not yet experienced the magic of Kanawana, but you want them to enjoy that experience in summer 2025, you can register them directly without an email link through our Active portal, starting at 9:00 a.m. on October 8, 2024.
