The Coulonge, Dumoine, and Noire rivers are untouched natural expanses located in Québec’s Outaouais region.
Campers spend 8 days paddling down the Coulonge, Dumoine, or Noire rivers admiring stunning views of canyons, evergreen mountain slopes, sandy beaches and running rapids. The Coulonge, Dumoine, and Noire are ideal settings for either a first trip or an experienced paddler’s adventure.
All campers are encouraged to participate and contribute according to their strengths and skills, whether it is by collecting firewood, portaging a canoe, or navigating the way. They will swim, paddle, and explore while learning basic survival and leadership skills as well as canoe safety and water hydrology. Campers also benefit from experiential educational activities to help them better understand, appreciate and preserve the natural environment.
Campers spend time at camp preparing for their canoe trip, as well as debriefing their trip upon their return.
