24 days Rangers Leadership Development Program (Ages 15-16)

The Rangers Program offers a unique experience within the leadership section at Kanawana. It acts as a transitional program for campers who looking to take on extra responsibility within a camp setting.

15-year-old participants in Rangers are encouraged to apply for either the Trailblazer or Forester programs the following year, as we only begin hiring staff at age 17.

Participants of Rangers leave with transferrable leadership skills that can be brought into all aspects of their lives.

All participants have the exciting opportunity to assist in the implementation of various programs and all camp events, which vary from session to session.

Certifications include:

  • A DAFA certificate from the Conseil Québécois du Loisir (CQL).
  • Campers can only register to one session: Rangers 1 (Sessions 1-2).
  • Campers are encouraged to register in our Residential Camp programs if they want to attend camp longer.
