Become more socially engaged
Would you like an opportunity to make a difference on social issues? The YMCA is associated with projects that aim to teach citizens about development issues and to encourage them to take up local and international social justice and community development initiatives. Among these are:
- volunteering and internship opportunities;
- training opportunities;
- youth engagement opportunities like Parcours de l’engagement, in which the YMCA and its partners give young people aged 18 to 35 the chance to learn about social issues and get involved;
- local events, such as the Journées québécoises de la solidarité internationale (JQSI)
- international events, such as the Collectifs de la société civile québécoise.
