The YMCAs of Québec Foundation Has Its First Female President!

Mr. Gregory Chrispin, outgoing President of the YMCAs of Québec Foundation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Claudie Imbleau-Chagnon as President of the YMCAs of Québec Foundation.

The YMCAs of Québec Foundation will benefit from the extensive experience of Ms. Claudie Imbleau-Chagnon, Director, Legal Affairs – Transactional at Ivanhoé Cambridge.

Before joining Ivanhoé Cambridge, Claudie took on a leadership role in various leading public infrastructure projects in the province of Québec, and more particularly, she has completed the mandate of providing and leading the legal services of one of the largest social infrastructure projects in Canada, the CHUM hospital and its Research Center in Montréal.

She has served on the YMCA of Québec Foundation’s Board of Directors for the last five years and was a member of its Governance Committee. Claudie welcomes the opportunity to become the first female president of the Foundation, being inspired by the YMCA as a key actor in social communities.

Ms. Imbleau-Chagnon holds a Bachelor of Laws (2001) and DESS in common law (2002) from the Université de Montréal in addition to a Master’s in Comparative Law (2004) from McGill University. She is a member of the Quebec Bar.

The YMCAs of Québec Foundation would like to thank Gregory Chrispin, Senior Vice-President, Wealth Management and Life and Health Insurance, Desjardins Group, for his sincere commitment to our cause and his strong conviction to fulfill our organization’s mission.

In the last 5 years as President, Gregory has been, both for the Y and its flagship event, the Peace Medals, a very important voice for the business community of Greater Montréal and Québec.

Mr. Chrispin will continue to serve as a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
