Do you have small children? Don’t miss the new pre-school camp at the Du Parc YMCA! Whether you’re looking for an alternative to daycare during the summer vacation, a chance to make new friends or make your little champ’s transition to kindergarten easier, pre-school camp can be a valuable asset to the overall development of your child.

The Guy-Favreau YMCA badminton team—the 2017 provincial champion—organized its first tournament on March 31. Around fifty players participated in the tournament. The event was a great success and will be repeated later this year.

Would you like to get active and have fun with your family? Make sure to check out POUNDFIT family classes at the Cartierville YMCA! Drumsticks in hand, you’ll jam to the music while you work on your cardio, strength and flexibility. Check out our online schedule, and don’t miss the party!

The Cartierville YMCA is offering a brand new Mind and Body class this summer: ZEN*GA. Combining yoga, Pilates, martial arts and meditation, this practice stimulates the fascial system and builds endurance, strength, mobility and stability while cultivating a greater sense of physical awareness. Try it out!  

To better serve its members, the Downtown YMCA is adding two new and exciting classes to its spring programming:

What’s more, due to popular demand, the Friday morning Zumba class is moving to the gym!

Feel like getting moving outdoors? Starting late April or early May, the Downtown YMCA will hold its Bootcamp classes outdoors on Wednesday evenings and Thursday at noon, weather permitting. It’s a great way to get energized and soak up some Vitamin D!

On March 23, more than 120 members of the West Island YMCA gathered in the gym for a rip-roaring Zumbathon to raise funds for youth and families at the Y! And, the next day, over 290 people participated in yoga, Pilates, Cardio-Drums, TRX and Cycling classes for the Work out for a cause event! We will announce the amount we raised soon, so follow the latest news from your centre!

The Cartierville YMCA will close the gym from May 14 to June 3 to varnish the floors. During this time, please feel free to use a gym at another Y centre or try out a new activity!

Do you love to ride? Why not support the Y cause by participating in the Cartierville YMCA’s Cyclothon on April 28? The front desk team will be happy to explain how the event works!

The Westmount YMCA wants to help your little ones get moving with a new activity: Karibou! Specially designed to encourage small kids to develop their motor skills, this friendly activity is adapted to the development of each child.
