Plusone is a community-based mentoring program designed to engage youth who are experiencing challenges in their social and academic development in a meaningful relationship with an adult role model. The objective of the program is to leverage the mentoring relationship to help youth expand their positive peer network, increase self-esteem, and build autonomy.

Being a Plusone mentor is a one-year commitment during which you meet with youth for one to two hours a week. Meetings take place every week for the first six months and then become progressively less frequent as the youth begins their transition out of the program.

The Plusone Mentoring program is currently seeking mentors. Are you 18 years or older and want to volunteer your time to build a meaningful relationship and share your experience with a young person in your community?

Don’t wait—fill out this registration form to become a mentor and help change a youth’s life.
