For anyone with an active membership on the date of the launch of our online registration system, 9th July 2019
If you have an active membership or registration at the YMCAs of Québec, your account details have been migrated over to our new registration system, known as DfM (Dynamics for Membership).
But before you can access the new online system, you will need to create a web account which will allow you to sign up for programs and memberships, and manage your individual and family accounts.
The following are step-by-step instructions for setting up your online account:
STEP 1: Go to https://public-yqc.ymcadfm.ca/
STEP 2: Click on the ‘LOGIN’ button.
STEP 3: Click on the link at the bottom of the Sign in page to create your new online account, or use your existing Facebook or Google account credentials to sign in.
STEP 4: Create a username and a password, and enter your email address.
Tips for creating your account
Creating a Username
Your Username cannot be an email address, but should be a name that is familiar to you and easy to remember.
Adding Your Email Address
We recommend using the same email address as is on your existing YMCA account. Check with your YMCA if you are not sure which email address is in the YMCA system.
* If you wish to change the email address attached to your account, you can do so from your account page after you’ve created your online account. You can also contact your YMCA and request the change.
STEP 5: Click on the blue ‘Send verification code’ button.
A code will be sent to your email address by Microsoft. Retrieve the code from your email and copy it into the Verification code field, then click on the ‘Verify code’ button.
STEP 6: Click on the green ‘Create’ button to proceed.
STEP 7: Fill in either your YMCA account number or the name fields and enter your date of birth, then click on the arrow to advance to the next screen.
The system will automatically search for duplicates by checking first and last names and date of birth. Please be sure to enter the spelling of your name exactly as it is in your existing YMCA account and ensure that the date of birth is also the same as in your existing account. If you are not sure, please contact your YMCA to verify this information before proceeding.
If, after entering your name and date of birth, you are taken to the screen below, you are creating a new account instead of accessing your existing account. Please contact the YMCA before proceeding.
If you have used a different email address than the one in your YMCA account, you will receive an email containing an activation link that you must click on in order to activate your account.
Ready to Browse!
Once you’ve entered information into the name and date of birth fields and clicked on the ‘LOGIN’ button, you will now have access to the new system and are ready to sign up for programs!
If you need to edit any of your personal information once your online account has been created, please click on the My Account link at the top of the page.
If you already have a family account with the YMCA, you can access your account through the My Family link, once you’ve logged in.
If you do not have a family account and would like to register members of your family for programs now or in the future, please create a family account to add your family members to the same account.
Creating a Family Account
Click on the My Account link and then go to FAMILY AND GROUPS ACCOUNTS. Click on Create or Join, and follow the steps you see on your screen.
If you would like to add a person(s) to your family account who already has their own individual YMCA account, you will not be able to add them through your online account. Please contact your YMCA and a customer service representative will be happy to add them for you.
