The Y is celebrating the Village People’s visit with an open house week from July 17 to 23, 2017

Montréal, July 17, 2017 — To mark the legendary Village People’s visit to Montréal, the YMCAs of Québec want to give everyone a chance to discover the magic of the Y during an open house week from July 17 to 23, 2017.

All throughout the week, people of all ages can come discover the Y and dance in our group classes, dive into our pools, challenge themselves in our conditioning rooms and shoot some hoops in our gyms. They will also have a chance to learn more about our camps, language school and many community programs.

“The Village People’s song is very special to us because we were the first YMCA in North America. We have been serving Montrealers since 1851. Not only is it a playful song that gets everyone moving, it also talks about an inclusive space where everyone has an opportunity to learn, help each other and have fun. And that always represents what the Y is all about: a place where you can feel good in your mind, body and spirit,” says Stéphane Vaillancourt, President and CEO of the YMCAs of Québec.

To take advantage of this open house week, just go to the YMCA of your choice with a piece of ID. For conditions or more information, please visit our website.
