Montréal, November 25, 2015 — The YMCAs of Québec are happy to welcome at the Pointe-Saint-Charles YMCA twenty Medavie Blue Cross employees for a Day of Service. Volunteers will help paint the new facilities for young people who attend our school perseverance programs.
- When: Thursday, November 26 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Where: Pointe-Saint-Charles YMCA, 255 Ash Avenue, Montréal (H3K 2R1)
This Day of Service is part of a Canada-wide partnership between the Medavie Health Foundation and the YMCA Alternative Suspension program, which gives at-risk youth who are suspended from school access to tools that enable them to transform their time away into a positive experience.
We are grateful to the Foundation for its support and to Medavie Blue Cross employees for lending a hand. Thanks to them, we can provide youth from our school perseverance programs a welcoming and comfortable environment.
