Rogers is giving a boost to our YMCA Alternative Suspension program.
Québec City Community Office - February 18 2020
With a common desire to support youth in Québec, the YMCAs of Québec and Rogers are celebrating the generous contribution of $25,000 given by Rogers to the YMCA Alternative Suspension program in the Québec City region.
The announcement was made on Sunday, February 16 during the Rogers Hometown Hockey event in Québec City. The donation coincides perfectly with the start of Hooked on School Days, which are held from February 17 to 21 and in which the YMCAs of Québec are active participants. Étienne Talbot, Director of the Saint-Roch YMCA sports and community centre, and Olivier Martin, Director of Family and Community Support, accepted the donation, along with Édith Cloutier, Jonathan Julien, Paul Coffey and Yvan Cournoyer.
The YMCAs of Québec Foundation would like to express its deepest gratitude for this generous donation, which will make a significant contribution towards school perseverance programs and preventing school dropout in the Québec City region.
