Private Trainers – Guy-Favreau Y centre
Jacques Brochu
For nearly twenty-five years now, I have been working in renowned institutions as
a dance instructor and choreographer. Co-founder of the Mia Maure dance company
(1985), I am currently taking a course specializing in the Feldenkrais method of
somatic education. I am fascinated by the development of the body through movement
– whether as a means of getting into shape or simply as a form of bodily expression
– and I am looking for educational strategies that allow individuals to perform
within the limits of their own unique being. In my practice, I integrate a number
of approaches that encourage each client to expand his or her physical repertoire.
I have been working at the YMCA as a trainer since 1992, and I have participated
in the creation of many classes. I approach my work as a private trainer as I do
everything else; as a dedicated professional striving for excellence.
Michel Lepage
I am passionate about weight training. More particularly, I am interested in hypertrophy
and strength training. I like listening to people and hearing about their needs.
By teaching them about things like weight-loss techniques, I feel like I can really
help them improve their quality of life. I also like to attend fitness workshops
and conferences as it allows me to keep up-to-date with the latest developments
in my field. I am also an avid cyclist, swimmer, and inline skater; three activities
that are mainly cardiovascular in nature. You can find me at the Du Parc or Guy-Favreau
Y centres.
Michel Morel
I have been a certified trainer at the Guy-Favreau Y centre for over 2 years. Whether you need to lose weight,
gain muscle mass, or improve coordination and balance, my personal and professional fitness training experience will
allow me to help you reach your fitness objectives. I am very passionate about fitness training and healthy lifestyle
habits such as healthy eating. As such, I focus on incorporating both of these aspects to achieve optimal results.
Furthermore, my participation in various workshops on nutrition provides me with additional expertise. I am an extremely
determined individual and I enjoy helping people reach their objectives. I am also an excellent communicator and I am
certain that we can work together to help you reach all your objectives.

provide tangible and lasting results. Whether it is for losing weight, correcting
posture, improving cardiovascular capacity, strength training, or for developing
flexibility, my varied and diverse background along with my ability to motivate
