Everyone deserves a chance
The Hochelaga-Maisonneuve Y centre helps children, youth,
adults and families improve their well-being regardless of their
financial situation. Our centre is committed to offering quality
programming and activities that meet their needs, allow them
to reach their full potential by developing their mind, body,
and spirit, and provide them with the opportunity to give
back to the community.
What can you do to help today?
For $25 (approximately $2 per month)
You allow a group of 20 boys aged between 12 and 17 to
participate in a basketball game supervised by a specialized
trainer.
For $50 (approximately $4 per month)
You allow a group of disadvantaged parents from the
neighbourhood to take part in a fitness class.
For $100 (approximately $8 per month)
You allow a child from the neighbourhood between the
ages of 6 and 17 to participate in a week of activities at a
residential camp; often their first outdoor experience.
For $250 (approximately $20 per month)
You enable a child with special needs to benefit from the
help of a shadow (specialized help) during a one-week
session at day camp.
